God of small things

Its a wonderful book. Loved reading it. I had tried reading it a few times before..bout couldnt get past the first few lines. But this time I was somehow ready to read this book. ts a very warm book...I now know why this book got the Pulitzer price. It completely deserves it.

I was so desperate to get into the characters world and make things right for them. God!...it is so cute.

Arundhati Roy is the "God of Small Things" she just know how to present the small things in life so simply, so elouquently, so artistically, and yet so touchingly.

I particularly loved the following thought process wherein the little girl thinks " Jesus could walk on water, but culd he have swam on land?..did he have such imagination and was he that creative?"...Its still very innocent but so geniuely curious.

Must read for anyone who simply loves life..with all its joy, love, happiness, heart breaks, sadness ad irony.
