Losing a cell phone is like losing a significant part of your life

I recently lost my cell phone and boy!.....I felt like i lost my limb/hand or my head itself..
even though we can block the SIM, get a new phone, get the same # again, the precious information you had in the cell hone is lost for ever, unless you had safely copied it into the another old SIM / synched with the computer or whatever...the effort that goes into making a contact DB is completely lost ...i had made contacts with a lot of my college mates after i came to india and now i have to start over again...oh! the agony!!!!!! i ended up putting a phonebook for me and my hubby to note down new numbers as ad when we get time.

Also make it a habit to note down the SIM#, phone# and such information, so that u can properly report to police. do the same for a ny item you buy too...

I am just recovering from my big loss...and will never ever go withut backup.
